Financial aid w/ demonstrated need??

I was talking with some of my friends about UT Austin financial aid and i was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate.
I’m in state and my family income is less than $30,000 (FAFSA EFC is 0)
stats are p good…
34 ACT & 4.0 GPA
white female admitted to cockrell engineering
idk i just wanna have a guess at how much money it’s gonna be lol so lmk if you can help me out

From FAFSA -Possibly Pell Grant think max is a little over $6,000 so up to about $3,000 a semester. Possibly Direct student subsidized and unsubsidized loans. Possibly college work study. From FAFSA as instate you should be considered for Texas state grants.Limited funds so may or may not receive and amounts vary. attaching link that describes, but it is outdated (top 10% no longer offered) Amounts for some have slightly increased from this older link

Attaching older link describing some scholarships https://news.utexas.edu/2015/10/02/five-great-ut-scholarships/
If family has military service, definitely call or look into Hazelwood, and would not assume do not qualify.

The Terry and Honors/Leadership scholarships are wonderful. Look for outside scholarships like the Texas Rodeo (app. now closed,) possibly scholarships for Women in Engineering, the Texas Society of Professional Engineers www.tspe.org/page/scholarships Comcast has Texas scholarships https://corporate.comcast.com/news-information/news-feed/recognizing-the-best-and-brightest-nationwide There may be local scholarships. This is just a start and may be outdated. Talk with and ask your college counselor for help, search online, look in your community for scholarships from your own or family’s past or current employers, religious organizations, businesses, electricity provider, newspaper, … You are awesome, someone is going to receive them, so apply.
Best of luck.

Don’t know if any of the above links specifically mention the Texas Advance commitment. I read about it but thought it only was being offered to incoming freshman for the 2018-2-19 year. My son got an award and it just showed up in his Financial Aid awards in his UT account. He is a junior engineering student this year. This was just through the regular FAFSA application. He has never qualified for any work-study or aid other than loans so this was a nice surprise. https://texasadvance.utexas.edu/
