Financial aid

Anyone no when we get our FA offers?

I have an OSU account (e-mail and all) by registering my SSN with Ohio State, and after one does that you can access financial aid status.

According to that page, all freshmen get financial aid decisions in "early April."

My mom said the financial aid package was sent today by email, but the hard copy won't be mailed for another week.

My D was able to log in, view and accept her awards today.

Alas! Still nothing for me, it says my File is Complete, but Award Status Not Complete.

Okay....screw osu. They totally gyped me. NO NEED BASED AT ALL. my efc was under 7000. I got the provost, but thats just 2400 a year. And then they offered me like a 5k loan? What a joke. Its gonna be cheaper for me to go to a better oos school. Its also stupid i got nothing from the honors college (which i got into) 22k a year for in state/mediocre school? Forget it. O and btw. i submitted the fasfa weeks before the deadline.

My son received his award today.12,300 scholarships,3,231 in grants, 2,500 work study and 3500 loan. We are oos so its still a large gap to fill but it was better than I thought it would be. Marylands gap was only 5,000 so he is probably going there

Just curious, from those who have received financial aid information online:
When did you get accepted/turn in FinAid?
Have you already confirmed enrollment (housing deposit and whatnot)?

Accepted December first. Sent Fafsa end of January. Aren't sending housing deposit because more than likely not going there. They even offered us a 600$ travel grant but S has his heart set on Maryland
