I've looked literally everywhere but I don't know where to get my VUNETID?

Thanks

Assuming you were admitted to Vanderbilt (I suppose ED?) and have paid your matriculation deposit, and Vanderbilt has processed this deposit, you can sign up for a VUNetID.

This is the site: [EPASSWORD | Vanderbilt University Information Technology Services](<a href=“Vanderbilt University”>Vanderbilt University). The process is pretty straightforward.

For regular admissions, I think the process starts a little while after you send in your deposit (early April if you mail your deposit in very early). They then send you a letter back with information about the VUNetID, as well as some other stuff, acknowledging your matriculation. (I think I also got a Vanderbilt bumper sticker or something of the sort)

Once you get your ID, you have access to your Vanderbilt and all of Vanderbilt’s other online services I think, which is pretty cool I guess.

I’m not sure whether ED students can yet sign up for the ID. I would probably wait for directive from Vanderbilt that you should sign up for your VUNetID before actually following the process in the above site (though I think the site won’t let you complete the application unless they have processed your matriculation, in which case I believe you’re good)

Hope this helps.

Ahh ok, that was very helpful, thanks.

So I’m regular decision, so is there a way to know my financial package without having to send in my deposit? Isn’t it more reasonable to know how much money I don’t have to pay first before commitiing to go there. This comes off as rather odd to me. :o

The award letter assuming you have done everything correctly comes with the acceptance (if you get one) package.
