Financial Aid

Aren't There Financial Aid for international students, right?
Which is the school cost for an international?

How could I pay the school? (Can I get a job into the campus?)..

Thanks.

The cost for an international is the same for out-of-state, approx. $50k per year. Financial aid is extremely limited – you’d have to be Regent’s Scholar to earn any decent money, and that requires extremely high test scores and grades. To work in the US, you will need a work visa, which takes awhile to get. Thus, not an easy solution.

I thought that Berkeley offered financial aid… This is not a good thing…

Dude, the entire state of CA is about to bankrupt…

Berkeley does offer financial aid and CA has been about to go bankrupt for quite some time now.

Since you’re an international student, financial aid, as well as admission, is much harder.

Yes, Cal does offer finaid, but relies primarily on state and federal grants. As an international, you are not eligible for those types of funds. The vast majority of aid, is need-based. No merit scholars wanted in this blue state.
