Finding the perfect jeans

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem: Most of my weight is centered around my hips. I have a small waist, but my hips and thighs are proportionally big. This causes me trouble when finding jeans. Usually they end up being loose in the waist and knee areas. Does anyone know any good brands than can fit the wide-hipped? Thanks!

Custom tailored jeans by chrisc. Our prices are quite reasonable. We start at $400 a pair.

I have exactly the same problem, happypoo! I don't own that many pairs of jeans, but I usally have good luck at the Buckle (usually with Silvers, which are a bit pricey- though not as much so as chrisc jeans apparently...) and I have found a couple good pairs at Delia's as well. Investing in belts is always a viable option as well. Ugh, it's so frustrating to shop in a world where clothes are all designed to fit girls of the stickfigure variety!

i dunno what to say :( i only wear designer jeans...but maybe u want to try the stretch jeans option? diesel makes stretch jeans....very comfy

Also very pricey.

stop wearing jeans. khakis instead.

ugh khakis look terrible on me. light colored bottoms generally don't suit the non-stick-figure girls. i weigh 105 and am 5'2 but khakis make me look terribly fat.
i've had success with delia's jeans and black pants. i have the same problem--loose around the top and in the front

5'4, 104-ish. Jean waists never fit me. I have one pair of jeans that won't fall down, and I can easily stick two fingers into the waist band comfortably without stretching it out. -_-;

Stop wearing clothes. Period. That's the easiest way to solve this problem. :D

^ lol. Make the entire world one giant nudist colony...I like it.

Try American Eagle jeans. They are best, I only wear them! They fit really good and come in a wide variety of sizes, from 00-14.

HYDROLIC JEANS.
sold at macys or filenes or other department stores... you will love them. prices are around $40-50. tons of styles. they sometimes come in short, regular, and long too.

american eagle pants don't fit me...i stick with department stores. and i've been staying away from delia's and other outlets because i'm usually a large there, and weighing 105 lbs i don't like to consider myself a size 10. it's depressing.
i second what souped4college says...department stores have tons of selection plus it's cheap.

let's make our own jeans!

I'm making my own shirt right now

dude...5'2 100 lbs! 5'4 100 lbs! thats really fat...ha ha jk.....i feel fat...i'm 5'9 and 147 lbs but all my jeans fit..ha ha

never had the problem.

5'9

125 lbs.

btw im a guy

Me too................

That is why you wear sweatpants and jeans that are 3 sizes too big.
