men's jeans

i am looking for jeans within the 40 to 80 dollar range
i am a 28-29w and 30L
any ideas

Check out Nordstrom Rack. They have really nice jeans for a lot cheaper than usual. You can get True Religions or Sevens for $100 if you're willing to spend a bit more. If you don't wanna spend that much, they have really nice Luckys for $40. I got a pair last week and they're awesome and really comfortable.

^ Best place for very high-quality jeans at a price far below retail.

The Buckle sells Lucky too. They usually look awesome on guys and last forever.

You could try a store like T.J. Maxx or Kohl's (I think). They have jeans for really cheap. Lucky's for $10, and Rock and Republic ones for $40. Unfortunately, the latter were a size too small. Gah!

The Buckle's own brand "BKE" is actually way cooler than Lucky. All their styles/fits/washes/back pocket styling are just way way more chic. And the price is about the same.

^ How much do they run? I'm not familiar with Buckle, it isn't very popular here. Most people just go for Sevens or Diesel for guys.

They're cheaper than Sevens for sure, probably a little less than Diesel. The style is very comparable to the latter.

Their stores are usually in the mall; I've never seen a stand-alone one. But actually I just picked up a pair of Division Es (also a sweet brand, but around $100) there today!

Hmm I forgot about BKE which is odd because my favorite pair is that. haha

Wow, jeans there usually run from 55-100 (that is in the womens section and is excluding the ed hardys, which btw are awesome). You could always look at their website. Something you need to remember is that if you get a cheaper brand (like Kohls--I have never seen any sort of even halfway designer stuff there), they probably won't last as long. You could go thru 3 pairs of their jeans compared to 1 pair from the buckle.

"They're cheaper than Sevens for sure, probably a little less than Diesel. The style is very comparable to the latter."

Diesel costs upward of 200. Sevens run from 150-200 normally.

And OKgirl, if you buy actual designer stuff from stores like T.J. Maxx, it's real. So it lasts as long as if you got it from Neiman Marcus.

whoa really? I swear I saw some diesels at Nordstrom Rack for like $75 and some Sevens for like $100, so that probably influenced my thinking, since I've never owned either haha. Rock and Republics are still my favorite :)

"And OKgirl, if you buy actual designer stuff from stores like T.J. Maxx, it's real. So it lasts as long as if you got it from Neiman Marcus."
I was just correcting you about kohls. I think TJ Maxx might, but def not kohls. They have cheap crap. The biggest designer there would probably be Vera Wang's cheap stuff. I doubt you'd find anything that costs more than 75.

^ I absolutely cannot find them in my size! Nordstrom Rack didn't have any, Nordstrom sells them in waist sizes too large for me. I usually have to buy in the "Kids" section, unfortunately. But even for the anniversary sale, they never got any! It's ridiculous!

Nordstrom Rack usually sells all jeans for $100 (those Diesels must have been old). The exception is R&Rs, which go for about $120 there.

I probably sound really gay, even though I'm not. :p I just love designer jeans. I need to find a pair of Rock and Republics before school starts. I also need to find an argyle sweater.

Oh, thanks. I didn't know about Kohls, because there's not one where I live. Is Ross similar to Kohls or T.J. Maxx?

I own an awesome argyle black/gray cashmere sweater from gasp Target lol.

"Oh, thanks. I didn't know about Kohls, because there's not one where I live. Is Ross similar to Kohls or T.J. Maxx?"
I'd have to say that Ross is closer to TJ Maxx. The stuff isn't really isn't as nice and the store smells all weird (I went to a few different ones, IDK why). It seems like TJ Maxx has more designer where Ross has more "name brand", if you even want to call it that.

Target does occasionally get some nice stuff. I actually was shopping there for stuff and walked past the womens section and saw something that was cute and I was going to buy it, but they didn't have my size.

buckle, american eagle, abercrombie, guess, express all have fine jeans. not cheap tho.

^^ I can never find anything at Target in my size either.. I think they only stock XL-XXXXL at our store :[
