finished draft of common app essay, looking for readers

So it's basically just the recollection of an experience + the reflection of that experience. Its a little over 2k words (i hope that's not too discouraging for potential readers), so could use some chopping. But I'm mainly just looking to see if it's half decent i.e. usable in some fashion. Any readers are greatly appreciated!

The goals is that the essays entertaining and moving etc. (to the reader), and I'm fairly smart (like you probably) so I would say I generally accomplished that, unless my subjective view of my own writing is way off, which it could kind of be.

Anyway if your comfortable with it, you may want to pm me your email as it'll take 3 pm's to send b/c its so long. But I understand if not, just if you think that's less inconvenient it's an option.

wow, that is pretty long.
What’s the topic you wrote about?

basically getting hit randomly in the face in a foreign city by an older kid on a bike with cruel intent. I describe the incident, then the post-traumatic(?)-experience reflection (which involves complex thoughts, most of which are true but some of which I thought of now, reflecting on it all to right the essay).

ouch
by a random stranger?
What’s his problem ~

we had this odd interaction minutes before the thing happened and judging by it he may have been high. Don’t know for sure. But I was also lost and walking back and forth etc., so probably looked vulnerable. And it was in a not so good neighborhood in a city with the 3rd highest crime rating nationally, so that kinda stuff’s not so uncommon I think.

I guess you don’t wanna try and give it a read?

I’ll be glad to help! Your essay will be interesting to read.
