As the deadline for committing to a college is coming soon and many people (like myself) are waitlisted, does anyone want to share their first choice letters or maybe some tips on how to write one?

If you write a letter I would keep it short and sweet. Things I would cover include 1) and expression of your continued interest in the school 2) any significant achievements since your application was filed (if applicable) 3) a comment on what you could bring to the college/campus life 4) only if true you can write “if accepted I will attend”
Other than that it is best to focus on the schools that have accepted you. Chances of getting in to a college off of a waitlist are generally fairly small.
