First Choices!

I hope you’re joking hadewisher. If I get accepted into a school because of donations, I wouldn’t accept it.

I love how into this you all are. OK… just my grandfather went… and things change?? My mother just got her trust fund from her parents like yesterday. She had forgotten all about it… she was supposed to get it when she was 45.

what up with the change of schools. In your previous change thread groton wasn’t even listed

I’m not attacking you but I’m curious doesn’t one recieve their trust fund at 21? I know that’s the case where I come from.

I think in the previous chance thread Groton wasn’t listed because hadeswisher was very certain of her acceptance to Groton and therefore doesn’t need to be “chanced” for Groton.
Also, the original chance thread was posted in October, while the First Choices post was posted in February. hadeswisher might have changed her mind about her first choices during the past months.

Good one, Benley.
Speaking of Serious liars, Lax4545 is one, becasue he pm me saying that at Exeter the teachers give him whatever grade he wants because he is a lax player that will go to the ivy league.

thank you assign

And the parents or grandparents choose when their kid will get the trust fund. They dont want people relying on it to get them through life.

Honestly, I don’t think lax4545 goes to Exeter. It is rather obvious just by the way he talks and types (no offense, but every other word is spelled wrong).

I just talked to the Exeter football coach there is no 6 2 , 230 pound wr that’s a linemen size

I won’t specify the order but my first choices. Andover SPS Deerfield nd Choate. My chances r medium-low

My nephew is applying to PEA as a PG. He plays football and is 6"3", 265 lbs. That is a lineman’s size.

Lol for PGs yes, there is noone lax size on exeters roster after I talked to coach g

does anybody else find it funny (in a brutal way, because i kno its tru for me too) that most people’s first choices are the schools where the think they have the least chance?

cheer up guys, only 15 days left!

I think that it is a mistake for an applicant to list choices. Right now, he/she has none. All of the choices lie with the schools to which the student has applied. If one or more schools should accept a certain applicant, then and only then will be the time for him/her to think about choices.

@ toombs61: its just dreaming about which school we would most like to attend if we were accepted to all of them, purely hypothetical

i have no idea what my chances are
First Choice: Andover (very, very low)
Second Choice: Deerfield (very low)
Third Choice: Exeter (very low)
Fourth Choice: Hotchkiss, SPS (IDCK)

just guesses,
My Choices

  1. Hotchkiss
    2.Deerfield
    3.Loomis Chaffee
    4.Exeter

My Chances
1.Loomis Chaffee(reasonable, i did well on the interview but not so great on the essay)
2.Hotchkiss(Great interview and essay but very competitive)
3.Deerfield(Not sure, interview seemed good, essay decent)
4.Exeter(interview was not the best, essays same as deerfield and loomis chaffee)

Just want to edit post #24: Andover (very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very LOW) :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :(

Have some hope. Please!!!

you never know what the rest of the world’s/ nation’s apps, are. so you really cant tell.
