lily, my daughter did 17 credits first semester and 18 credits second semester (one credit each semester was orchestra) so really 16 and 17 credits were academic. She had work-study and worked in a lab (chemistry major) , doing two four-hour shifts. Her boss was good about fitting in work time around her classes each semester. And she did fine with it. Also liked the fact that she didn't have to work any nights or weekends...but that was just her preference. Good luck.

yoga is definitely a laid back class. for stuart's class, 80% is attendance, 10% is punctuality, and the other 10% was for a short paper (reflection) we wrote at the end of the semester and a yoga journal we had to keep throughout the course. no biggie. i'm sure the other teachers' requirements will be very similar.

i don't think 17 credits is too much. you can do it.. plus, you always have that grace period to drop classes if you find it too hard.
