<p>Anyone else hear of a move to Palmer?</p>
<p>Yes, today most of First Co finally moved to Palmer Hall. Renovation for Murphy Hall won't likely start for a few years - no more money to do it. From what I've heard the hallways are smaller but the rooms are huge in comparison to what they had.</p>
<p>Finally, Palmer is complete and we (well, most of us) are getting settled in tonight. It took over two years for this to happen (Palmer was closed down in July of 2005). Big improvement over Murphy, but now we're expected to keep it cleaner and neater.</p>
<p>The reason for the larger rooms is that the entire east side of the main hallway are all 3-man plebe rooms, but these are actually designed and spaced for three people, unlike most of the rooms in Murphy. The entire west side of Palmer and the ends are upperclass and all are the standard-size two-man rooms, just like Barry and Jones Halls.</p>
<p>Is the network up and running in Palmer now? I heard it might not have been working earlier today.</p>
<p>all i heard from my S is that inspections will be a lot tougher cause there will be a lot less dust to start with - a spec of dust may mean hell.</p>
