intel? sorry, I don't know what that means.

oops sorry- international- probably not- was just wondering since they didn't include anything concerning aid- aren't they supposed to? or do they send it separately?

To those accepted....what school were you accepted to? SFS?

I'm not international and the letter says the aid will be sent after the FAFSA and CSS are reviewed....whatever that means and however long that takes.

Also, I applied to CAS.

congrats sman-hopefully we'll all get thick envelopes-I hate having to wait!!!!

anyone accepted into MSB ?

I'm attending fordham university (college of business administration) in the fall. I kind of expected to get into BC but was dissapointed when I was waitlisted. What does it take to transfer into a top notch school such as georgetown. I thought my statistics were alreadyvery good but apparently I was wrong. I didnt apply to georgetown before but Ive become increasingly interested in the school and specifically the school of foreign service. I wrote 2 emails to the admissions office, but have recieve no information back on basic inqueries about the school so Im virtually in the dark. also, is it worth it to transfer to a better school in undergrad or wait to graduate school to make such a transition....any suggestions?

the prestige of the grad school you attend is the most critical.

you must go to USF, right?

Yes I do (it's frickin HOT & HUMID here). But I may be transferring to either Emory or Tulane--it all depends on fin aid.

i go to FSU....we finished yesterday! summer's here!

Ahh I am really nervous as well. Does anyone know if they send the decision to your school address or to your home address? I will be here at school until the 11th, and don't want to have my parents have to read it to me!

Well if you indicated your school (dorm) address on your application, in respect to the dates you begin and end residency there, gtown admiss will mail it there; however, if by the time they mail a decision you ceased living at your school address, they will then mail it home. Or if your school receives it after you end residency, your school's mailing service will forward it to your house.

Hmm. I believe it just said that my school address will be the correct one until May. Nice and ambiguous....

What is Gtown's transfer accpetance rate to SFS? I know it is alot lower, but do we have any idea of how difficult it is to transfer into it? Also does Gtown keep your files because I applied this most recent year and was rejected.

I applied last year too and was rejected to the college (A-holes!!!). I applied to SFS this go around. Hopefully, somebody cool will read my application.

Competition into the SFS is actually significantly difficult in comparison to the college. I remember hearing that for last year only around 37 spots were available.

I do not know.

Additionally, the applicant pool to the SFS is quite competitive. I met a transfer from Amherst, and several others from Ivy League schools.
