First quarter grades....

Hi guys,

I'm a little nervous, because of my first quarter grades. I'm pretty sure I'd be a borderline applicant for Cornell ED, so I need advice.

Stats: 3.65/4.38 (9-11)
Upward trend
SAT: 1590 CR+M
SAT II's: 800 Math Level 2, 770 Math Level 1, 790 Bio, 780 French
Taking undergraduate level courses in French at Ivy league university in Rhode Island (wow, that's pretty ambiguous)

Good EC's, including research with and rec from Cornell graduate school professor

Because of the way my schedule works, my high school transcript will only show four courses:

AP Euro: B
Photography Honors: A
AP Literature: B
Gym: A

Does Cornell ask for first quarter grades, and if they do, am I screwed?

BUMP BUMP BUMp

Bump bump bump

You should check on the Cornell website or something. Since its a highly competitive school and you’re applying ED, you’re probably gonna have to send first quarterly grades and a midyear report

I’m applying ED to Duke and I know that I have to send first quarterly and midyear grades from the website.

I was worried about that. Do my senior grades destroy my chances?

They will lower your chances (probably a lot), you have no As in core subjects. Try and get at least one of them up to an ASAP.
