I currently I have a 3.6 gpa
I have been getting only As and Bs
But today when I get my unofficial transcript for the counselor I saw my first semster grade. It was
2 ws
1 c
1 a

This got me worried. Do you guys think they will see how bad I did in first semester and just reject me ??

Planning to transfer to uci or ucla

How do you not know what’s on your transcripts at all times? I watch it like hawk at the end of every semester to make sure it all turns out right. You can’t fight a grade discrepancy a year after finishing the class.

To answer your question (well a stab in the dark on it)…
A) A withdraw from a class doesn’t matter. And it really doesn’t matter if you retake the course at a later time.
C) A “C” grade might make some one take a second look if it was a required course for your major and a higher level course.

A 3.6 is still a strong GPA, but you should try to boost it another .2 points for a UCLA transfer if your major is impacted.

It wasn’t my major course.
And im just afriad they will reject me instantly because its on the first page of the transcript…

You cannot change past grades, and a single “C”, especially in a class not required for your major, is nothing to stress about. Sounds like you have an upward grade trend since then.
