@ElizaP10 you can have anyone call the school on behalf of you. Just give them your fit ID and school would give an update on the decision.
Omg I did not think of that, I’ll ask someone to call for me. I completely forgot I even applied to FIT since I’m busy with my current semester.
it seems like this year they’re sending out decisions super early because i applied for spring 2018 last year and didn’t get my decision until mid january. the letter was dated january 12th and i was waitlisted
I was reading your earlier convos on the financial aid stuff, I never got a letter from them but it’s filled out just the school isn’t on

ok so i called again, and the guy said they were finalizing and prntng it and it should be sent out and ONCE its sent out, after a few days you can call and suggest for an email with the letter… so im gonna call in a week and do that
For the email, is it for all applicants or just international??
So when I called, I requested them to send letter through email a girl said they only send emails to international. and then I asked the same thing on email, then below is what they replied.
To date, there is no Final decision on your application.
If you are admitted into the degree program you have applied to, we will then be able
to send you notification of the final decision by email.

I sent two emails to two different email ID’s two weeks ago requesting a decision email and last evening fit_admissions@fitnyc.edu replied. This was the reply from them.
“Dear Alekya: Thanks for your email. You shall be receiving your decision letter soon. Yes your application has been reviewed.”
Dont know what the decision is going to be, but I am nervous.
I tried, maybe they’ll email back soon. Thanks for giving me the email. I know there is two admissions emails, and one they respond with and one you might be waiting six months before you hear something. When I applied before, I emailed them using the one and I finally received an email a month after getting my decision.
@silverquotes make sure you include your student ID number in the email.
@niffler I didn’t even think about, but I did use my fit email so maybe that will help.

Guys!!! He said my letter was sent to the postal services just today and that I should expect the letter next week. I cant wait to see what it is. I was planning on not calling today but I did.
@LiloMay As far as I know, none of the fashion design students have received any letters except for the international students with international addresses. My major is fashion design 2 year AAS. I called and they said decisions were sent out. So you should be hearing something soon.
I called today, the guy said my letter was sent yesterday…and I live in nyc so I should know by tomorrow or maybe later today…
