Add me to the One a Day group, though mine are usually the Walmart generic for women over 50. I also take calcium. Currently they are the chewable kind. I may go back to the pills next time.
And I only take them on work days. I keep them in my drawer at work. At work I will remember to take them every day. At home, no way. I figure 5 out of 7 days is good enough.
I like vita fusion gummy vitamins because they taste good, don’t upset my stomach and I’ll remember to take them.
Multivitamin, vitamin D and a calcium supplement. Only viactive brand as they don’t upset my stomach.
I’m happy to say that I’ve been fairly consistent in taking them. At my recent bone scan, my osteopenia has not progressed since my initial scan 2 years ago.
I’m also very faithful to purposeful walking every day. I do miss a day here or there but not that many.
I was playing with my younger son. He was using a fancy push cart that my father gave him. I asked him what was wrong with that picture, an old guy humping his clubs around and a young guy pushing a cart?
LOL. Maybe the young guy is trying to ensure a good back for a life of good playtime. When my husband played he used a pull cart. Or a golf cart, but at least he was getting outdoors
Like everything else in the exercise realm, I’m sure I’ll get tired of them (Murphs). I’m not a big fan of “routine.” Although it’s a great overall workout. I just wish the gym owner would stop doing them altogether and give me a break from myself.
I took Sunday off. And thankfully this week’s programming, which isn’t taking into account that I’ve done 4 Murphs in less than a month, fortunately, has programmed a deload week. Yay!
This trip:
24 hours in Iceland
48 hours in Amsterdam
7+ days of bike and barge tour in Netherlands/Belgium (Amsterdam-Maastrict)
1.5 days at Waterloo (plan to hike the Battlefield)
Day 1 was amazing, we did a full tour of the Golden Circle in Iceland. Thingvellir National Park (where tectonic plates meet and cool history), geothermal area around Geysir ,Gullfoss Falls (pictured below) and Kerid Crater.
Day 2 was travel day to Amsterdam. Photo is view from our Airbnb.
No pictures from today. We walked almost 19k of steps while explpring Amsterdam. We paid a big chunk of cash for private tour of Van Gogh museum and it was worth it. Followed that with visit to Rembrandt’s house. Ended museum part of day with visit to the Anne Frank House which was really powerful. Did this all on foot.
Thanks for the report. We have our calendars marked get Anne Frank museum tickets (6 weeks prior to our late Sept Viking cruise, starting in Amsterdam).
