Florida CC Transfer Agreement?

Does anyone know how many schools you have to apply to? Im a sophomore at Santa Fe College and I was wondering if I could apply to only two schools. I know when you apply, one school has to accept you, but if I apply to UF and FSU is that fine?

English Major
Cum. GPA- 3.0
Prereq GPA- 4.0

Thanks guys!

It’s not one school out of the schools you apply to. It’s one school out of all of the universities in FL. You could apply to FSU and UF and get rejected from both. I’m assuming you know that means you have to have your AA. I wrote to the admissions of UF when I found out about the AA transfer agreement and the advisor wrote me back and said the same thing-that you are guaranteed acceptance to “A” florida university, whether or not UF or FSU wants to accept you is up to them, because you could still get accepted to FIU or FAU or FGCU etc…

It becomes more of a process by elimination…You apply to the best school first, or your top choice, and if they don’t accept, you go down to the next one…etc…And by the end of it…at least ONE school has to accept you.

I figured, Im just a little worried about getting in I really want to go to one of those two schools.

With an overall GPA of 3.0, it would be highly unlikely that FSU would reject you. Definitely apply there. :-)

Thanks! Im really nervous and I dont know anyone who has transferred there so I have no reference as to what gpa’s they accept

I posted a question on here a month or two ago asking for personal experiences with transferring to FSU with less than a 3.0 GPA. Mine will be around 2.8 when I apply, and around 3.2 when I graduate with my A.A. The responses I got made me very confident that I would get in, so you should be fine! :)
