Florida State University/ FSU Accepted Rejected Class of 2024

They deferred people, only ED and EA have come out

Not sure how many EA and ED were accepted for Miami, I just know my daughter was one of the 2100. But costs a fortune to go there even with the presidents scholarship she received. Waiting on 4 more schools. Good luck to everyone today!

@kslinky: The Miami acceptance letter said “with more than 38000 students applying for 2100 spaces in the first-year class”.

I think they mean that at the end they want their freshman class to have 2100 students. They will accept many many more because not everyone who is accepted will actually enroll there.

@kittycat1203 that makes more sense but letter is confusing. I guess they’re good at forecasting actual enrollment. I know that Miami is hardest of UF UM and FSU historically but that may be different this year. We will see…

On the FSU portal, the twitter feed got deleted on the side and the info at the top. Decisions coming out soon? Let me know if the header got deleted and the twitter feed

@JordanWykee still see twitter on mobile but the comment on when decisions will be released is gone

4 pm

they said on twitter decisions would come out after school so prob 4 pm. doubt it would be earlier, i don’t think colleges would release decisions while we’re at school bc then parents are left out of the excitement

Earlier it had the twitter feed and the bolded header section stating when decisions came out. Now it is not there.

The past 2 years it has been 4 pm

I know, I made an observation in the portal. Just wondering

So terrified

I am just so scared because last year the stats were so scattered…

wdym the scats were scattered?

@gilliangrace If u look at last years college confidential page some people got in with average stats and some people with 1400+ SAT and high GPA’s got offered pathways

i’m worried only bc it’s been the school i thought i’d go to since i was little, and the only thing giving me comfort rn is that i’m in-state & an IB student so i hope that holds some merit. i’m dying!!

@gilliangrace Good luck!

@newjerseysenior you too!!

@newjerseysenior Not sure about Texas but NC schools like UNC Chapel Hill and NC State and UNC Wilmington all state they only take 18% OOS and i know this is mandated by state laws. Here in VA state universities definitely take less OOS but I think UVA and VT take around 25-30%. My son applied tp UGA and like a previous poster had said they dont treat OOS any differently. Its a competitve school due to the Hope Scholarship in GA which gives free tuition to their best students.

@jgwolf Thats what it was with Georgia, Thank u!
