Florida to Vermont

Yes, I live in Florida and really want to visit Middlebury, but its about $288 to fly. I will be visiting my sister in DC, but I doubt she will drive me up there. Any cheap ways from either florida or DC to Middlebury.

Jet Blue flies into Burlington, VT and Midd is less than 1 hour away and Independence Air and Southwest fly into Albany, Ny and Midd is 2 hours from there.

How would I get from Albany to Middlebury?
Jet Blue dooesnt fly from Jax (boooooo Jet Blue)

independence air flies in to burlington too...if you can get to DC, their hub, they have cheap flights up to burlington. but then you would need a ride down to midd, which can run you up to $65 (midd will be hiking their fees in september).

if you do go the albany route there's a bus that goes from the airport to a gas station that is a 5-7 minute walk from campus. the same bus company can take you from boston up to middlebury. see http://www.vermonttransit.com for schedules and call for rates. consider flying southwest airlines or independence air.

or else include middlebury in a larger tour of NE colleges and drive between them while using cheaper airports. but burlington is rather expensive to fly in to. good luck.
