<p>I got a honors college form com old westbury SUNY and it said I could attend it if I chose, and said I should send in the form for more info, so I signed it and stuff and faxed it in. I did not know the form was possibly an acceptance form so then on march 26 I got a letter from them and by then I made my mind to go to Baruch and paid no attention to it. I opened the letter today and it says "Congratulations, we are pleased to hear you have chosen to attend Suny college of Old westbury this fall 2009" WHat the hell?? And it also had a contract to obey honors college requirements and stuff due for April 20th (tomorrow)! I don't want to go there !!! Does this mean I have to attend or can I call and tell them it was a mistake?? My dad told me to call them tomorrow right away but I'm very anxious to know what's going to happen!! What do you guys think?? And in general, if you commit, do you have to attend that university?? I have committed to Baruch already, so does that mean I have to pay for both universities if this does not resolve?? Please help!!</p>
<p>I would call them and tell them what happened. They can’t force you to pay or to go, I am pretty sure.</p>

<p>Just tell them it was a mistake. Last year my friend’s parents signed her name and accepted an offer at a school she really didn’t want to go to. She called them, said it was a mistake, and it was no big deal.</p>

<p>It won’t be a problem. Don’t stress. Call Old Westbury today and tell them that you won’t be attending. That’s all you need to do. You’re good.</p>
