I know the food gets good reviews. What I'd like to know is how are the new vegetarian options? Judging from a video I had seen, the options for vegetarians had been very limited, but they've begun offering more options this year. Is it just one entre per meal, or is there better selection than that? Any comments from ND vegetarians would be really helpful. TIA!

Notre Dame basically has tons of food everywhere. It’s really easy to make a lot of it vegetarian friendly as they often have variety of options- make your stir fry, pasta bar, pizza bar, and extensive salad bars. They also have veggie burgers and other vegetarian options daily. I am not vegetarian, but I eat very little meat at college, mostly because there are so many good meatless options. To get an idea of what Notre Dame offers, here is a link to the daily menu:
[Dining Halls // Food Services // University of Notre Dame](http://food.nd.edu/places-to-eat/dining-halls/)
But also know they have much more than that, such as salad, panini, pizza, and pasta (all make your own) bars, ect.

There are a lot of vegetarian options: pasta, pizza, egg rolls, rice, burritos and tacos without meat, veggie burgers, fries, salads, the vegetable station, the fruit station and more. You should have no problem finding food here. My friend is vegan and she has a hard time sometimes getting a meal she likes, but the veggie options are good.

Thank you both for the info. I’ve been following the daily menus, and while it has more than I thought, it could use more vegetarian entrees/variety. They’ve made a good start.
