Is there a possibility that you might find a place to get Korean food around Hanover or on campus? How about Chinese/Japanese/Mexican?

the orient....love it!

I have eaten rice at lunch and dinner for as long as I can remember. If I can't have it, I will die. :[

are u currently in dartmouth, findfishfast?

Nopers... still in the Sunshine State.

There are plenty of take out restaurants around, but there aren't any good (authentic) Chinese restaurants in the area. The Orient is alright. Most of the stuff is takeout fare, but they have a few dishes that aren't that bad.

There's also a Thai restaurant on main street. I personally don't like the food, but others do.

There is a Korean restaurant in West Lebanon, and also a hibachi restaurant.

For Indian food, Jewel of India is actually pretty good. It's also in Hanover, off main street. There's another Indian restaurant called India Queen, but I've never tried it.

My recommendation would be to bring a small rice cooker and some rice from home. Yea, they're technically against dormitory fire codes, but no cares.

OMG! ?No arroz?

The food on and off campus is amazing.

lol, are there any places to get empanadas... or am i going to have to stock pile when i leave here :p

IDK, man, I gotta bring my Goya products.

yeah Jewel of India is hands down the best restaurant in hanover
the orient's good if you're looking for half-decent chinese food, also right in town
there are some mexican places in the area but they pretty much suck

i wouldn't know about on-campus food tho

maybe this is a stupid question but they do have mcdonalds burger kings etc. over there dont they?

Ummm, empanadas...yummy. Bring me some. ;)

the closest you get to fast food in Hanover is Subway and Quiznos ... otherwise, for McD, BK, KFC, Taco Bell, etc, you have to go to West Leb.
