Football Tickets - going abroad

Current students, I have a question. I know how football tickets work, generally, as I am a freshman this year. My question is...can someone going abroad in the fall still have their ID qualify for a set of season tickets? I'm not sure if this is against the rules or not. But I know someone going abroad in the fall...if they were able to let someone use their ID to buy a booklet, it would make getting tickets for friends and family members easier.

Sounds "crooked" I know....but part of coming to Notre Dame means making oneself eligible to attend football games or at least benefit from the ability to purchase them.

What's the word?

Doing that is against the rules, but I have heard of people doing it. I also have heard of people getting in trouble for it (they later check the list of those who bought tickets against the abroad list I believe) so I really wouldn't recommend it.

It can be done, but done at your own risk and I would not recommend it!

They really do get very uptight about these sorts of things. Sort of like how if you have four meals going into a Friday you're not allowed to use all of them. You know, beside the fact that your board money PAID for the meals, and all...
