Wrong board probably, but I’ll answer anyway.

Depends on the college you go to. Most schools give need-based financial aid, which takes into account your and your parents’ financial situation. It also depends on the college that you decide to go to. The ivies pretty much give full financial aid to people with 50k-60k or under if they are accepted. Other students with higher income families will have to pay a bit more.
If you go to an average state school, for example, you can get full scholarships depending on your grades. Maybe 2100+ SAT and ~3.6+ GPA will get it? Many other colleges offer different scholarship opportunities as well.

Full-tuition scholarship to University of Southern California’s Architecture School

How I did it: I applied by the merit aid deadline, made sure my portfolio looked great, made sure my essays were good.
Stats: 89.8/100 GPA (~3.5) UW - Competitive HS (doesn’t rank)
SAT: 2180

I was nominated for a presidential (half-tuition) scholarship, flew over to interview for it.

Aced the interview, got the trustee (full tuition).

Oh my, you see you need to have a almost perfect SAT score. My SAT score sucked (1300), but i am definantly going to take it again. My school doesnt give out gpas or class rank because we get credits…its weird.

Full tuition scholarship at Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago):
How I did it:

-Graduated Salutatorian in my high school (450+ people)
-30 ACT score
-Heavily involved in about 5 clubs, president, treasurer, etc. positions
-Did community service volunteer work
-Wrote good essays
-Good portfolio

But this school makes it easy to get a full tuition scholarship, you don’t have to be
Salutatorian. Many people get it. Just google “Camras scholarship.”

cheers
