for bio majors that attended UCLA orientation

What classes are left???? I jus checked online catalog and a lot of them are waitlisted. Is there a separate list for us??

not a bio major, but i thought i’d reply just so you could have something to help with the stress lol
i’m a psych major and what happened for us is that we were all guaranteed a spot for one major related course (which is a requirement) and those spots got over enrolled. my counselor had to call in and manually request to add the rest of the people in my group but everyone got the classes they wanted. the other major related course that we wanted also had to be manually added (counselor emails it to admissions) and we weren’t able to see how many slots were open (though my counselor had a list during our prior appointment where he could see how many slots were there and they’ll estimate your chances… we had to have backup classes)

but yeah, in short, they put spots aside for transfers and the numbers dont get released until 8pm …or later if they need to add more spots in classes…

i’m going to assume that it’s similar for bio major courses? the orientation page DID say that there would be spots saved for each session :)

Whatever your orientation day is, is the earliest anyone can register for classes correct?

^ not sure what you are asking, but everyone has to wait until 8pm on their orientation date to register for classes
