How many times did you change your major throughout your undergrad years? did you graduate within 4 yrs? What was your intended major, why did you switch, why did you choose the new major to switch to, and what did you finally graduate with? List all of your intended majors starting with what you wrote on your Applications!!

well, I'm not quite a graduate yet (will be after May 9 though!) but I'll go ahead and answer your question anyway. I changed majors once. It was a big switch though- I went from Apparel Merchandising, which I thought I would really like but ended up hating, to Anthropology which I absolutely love. Why I switched- I ended up hating all the sewing and labs I had to do for A.M. and the people in the classes (stereotypical blonde sorority bimbos, most of them).
I chose anthropology because I was kind of a nerd about that stuff anyway, I mean I would read articles in National Geographic about sequencing the Neanderthal genome for fun anyway so why not? I will be graduating with a BA Anthropology (and French minor) in May.

Current junior:
-Applied as biology/pre-pharm with a Japanese minor (bad idea--my school's Japanese department is AWFUL)
-Toyed around as pre-pharm or other pre-health (Human Bio) second semester
-First sophomore year, switched to a psychology and social work double major, looking to go into medical social work. Kept taking Bio classes just in case.
-Second semester sophomore year, decided I would definitely be a bio minor (after getting an A in what turned out to be a graduate level endocrinology course, I figured I wanted something with bio on my transcript!). Got involved in psych research and loved i. Was on the fence between mental health clinical work and medical clinical social work.
-Second semester sophomore year/first semester junior year, decided I wanted to go psych or social work graduate school and become a mental health clinician. Will try for a research (as opposed to general) psych major, as I'm taking all the required classes anyway.

I'm "on track" to graduate in four years, but I'm not counting any unhatched eggs....

Well, on my college application I said that I wanted to major in math, and 1.5 years into college I am close to being done with the major requirements.

I was quite torn though between a few subjects to study as a minor or double-major along with math. I tried philosophy, economics, physics and finally settled for computer science.
