no problem =) if you have information you feel that is too sensitive to share on the forum, please feel free to pm me.

have confidence in yourself! lol if you don't know yet ;) being from nicaragua definitely is a big point in the admission wars in the applicant pool! applying to harvard is the first step! so you've already got your foot in.

yes, i will be applying for 2007 fall entrance.

yubi thanks for the heads up!

I know it's already been 2 months since the last post but if any other accepted students could answer what they wrote about?

it just feels like most of the people who posted so far had unique/off-the-wall topics. is this advisable?? I was thinking it's advantageous to write about your passions or something more serious...? not sure

Oh by the way if it sounded like I was asking what the "best" topic is...I'm not. I know that the essay is supposed to reflect your own personality and thus you can write about whatever you want, but I'm just wondering--how much of your personality does it show if you write about something "random" or as I said above "off-the-wall" except that you're different?

Or I guess how do you relate such a topic to your career/life goals? Or is it unnecessary to do such a thing.

itida- I wrote about my dad's Marine Corps deployments when I was young, and developed that into how that influenced me to want to lead a life of service, including doing my own time in the USMC when I graduate from Harvard.

Wait... Finale, are you serious?!

bumpity bump :)
