For people who got 5's on Calc AB...

What was your SAT math score?

I feel that getting a 5 on calc BC really has nothing to do with the SAT. The questions are completely different and easier. You just have to practice those type of questions. My first time taking the SAT, I didn't study at all and go 700. I just took it again, hopefully I will score higher.

I didn't take calc AB, only BC which I got a 4 on, and a 4 on AB subscore. I did bad because I guess did not study enough or something. But the SAT is a different story, cause it got to a point where I found it fun to just study math SAT, and thus I did a lot of it. I got a 740 my first time, studying for 3 years lol, and I am pretty positive I got an 800 this time.

780 SAT I math.

710 :[ i really hope this improved

780 last time (1 wrong) and hopefully 800 this time. I didn't study any math either time.

I got a 5 on AB without studying for the exam besides hw in class, etc. I did not study SAT math, first time got a 670, then got a 730, pretty sure 780 or 800 on this past october test. I focused on CR... not much math, just had to watch for dumb mistakes here and there.

Yeah, you can't really compare them because AP is just knowing Calc stuff, while SAT is finding the tricks in the problems and solving relatively easy math problems without making mistakes.

i got a 5 on bc with a 4 on ab subscore ***** and 700 on sat math in january, and probably 740 this time :(

what a stupid question. getting a 4 or 5 in the AP calc exam is easier than getting a 800 in math. Getting a 800 in SAT 2C is easier than getting a 800 in the SAT 2 IC or SAT 1 Math because for these, u don't have to get a perfect score to get a 800 or 4, 5. The SAT 1 Math is definitely easier in difficulty, but the time is short and questions seem easy that people rush through them and make mistakes.

I got a 5 in Calc AB and a 680 on the SAT math section :( I will retake it, no question on it.
But again getting a 5 in Calc AB is way easier than a 800 in the SAT math section.
"The SAT 1 Math is definitely easier in difficulty" ;)

800 on M
790 MII.

btw, calculus has nothing to do with SAT's o_o

Timmy how did you check your SAT 1 scores for October already? O.o

I'm confident. 4 days of trying to prove myself wrong has not worked...
lol

my friends think I'm losing it :P

5,
i took mine oct and hoping for a 800

Knowing Calculus has nothing to do with your Math scores for example, with just a knowledge of up to Algebra 2 and Geometry I got:

800 SAT I Math
790 Math IIC

Not really comparable. Made a 5 on Calc AB, 800 on Math II, and I just took the SAT I. If the SAT I was all Calc, I would ace it.

I got a 5.

But a 630 on Math II. Yeah...

i got a 5...
probably M 780 aff

5 on AP calc
660 on SAT math

Hopefully I broke 700 this time, but I always make mistakes
