Like the title says. This thread is for ya'll. And me.

Since we got the statistics and saw ED applicants go down, I can offer the reason I didn't apply ED.

I wanted to but my parents "helped" me decide it would be more sensible to apply RD and keep our options open (and to get those tax forms organized). I guess the economy is having its impact.

So question to everyone:
If Penn is your 1st choice, why didn't you apply ED?

wow it's hard for me to wait even for another week...seeing how much you want to go there, you'll have to suffer so much longer...props to you.

1 more week!! OMG The day that I've been waiting for since freshmen year is 7 days away. STILL 7 days!! TOO LONG!! I hate waiting, when I want to do something or know something, I do immediately. I don't like to wait.

Not intending to lead off topic..so here's my two cents on why apply RD from what I heard from friends.

For most people, they want to compare their financial packages, see which one is worth going. For others, they just aren't really aware of the whole ED thing. Then, there are some who really don't know which one is their top choice and just can't make a decision (I think this one is a bit inefficient since if you can't make decision then..you probably won't be too decisive when you do get into schools).

haha no worries. and props to YOU -- you've waited since freshman year haha. I didn't even know till end of junior year.

also, get some sleep :)
