for rolling admissions sat score and app question

say i send my whole app and everything in september for rolling admissions and i retake sat in october and send this sat score in october?

can i do that ?
i feel like there would be a problem if i didn't.

cause i originally signed up to take chem and math2 2mrw but i don't think i am ready for math2 at all and i had originally planned to take the SAT in june but i won't have that much time to prepare.

so guys what should i do?

You should call the schools of interest and ask their policies. Schools differ. Good luck! :)

There is a chance that they will not have time to evaluate your app with the revised SAT if you send it in September before retaking the SAT in October. If you want to retake the tests in October, why not apply after your SAT scores are revealed?

It really depends on what the “rolling” admission school actually does. If it is one that starts making and sending out decisions as early as September or October and you submit all required materials including a test score in September, the decision on you may well be made before the October test score ever gets to them. You can still send the Oct score and if it gets there before a decision is made it will be considered but otherwise not. If it is a college that does not even start to make the rolling decisions until later such as Nov or Dec (like Mich), then your Oct score will get there before any final decision is made and will be considered for the admission decision.

i plan on applying to rutgers nb/upitt/pennstate/upenn and as my reachs CMU and ucsd.

the first 3 are rolling.

i think i will add mich to my list

so out of the schools i havementioned anyone have an idea?

cause i have heard that sending ur app extremely early seriously improves ur chances…

bump pump pleaseeee

You will have a better chance at admission if you send your app early, but only send the app after your SAT scores are revealed.
