Right now I have a 1060/1600 or 1680/2400 SAT. Two of the schools I am going to apply to have rolling admissions (UPitt and Penn Sate, and I'm from PA). I am going to take the ACT in Sept and send those scores, hoping I do better. So since the school has rolling admissions, should I send my SAT score in mid-Sept. or wait until mid-Oct for the ACT score?

I would think that waiting until mid-October would hurt. If you send everything in by that time or by early November, you'll be in good shape.

Wait, you said both sides above. Which one do you mean?

Anyone have an idea, or would it really not matter.

If you think that your ACT scores will show a significantly better light of yourself as an applicant I would say wait, otherwise, since it's rolling admissions I would say get everything in ASAP since you'll have a much better chance since you'll be compared to less applicants.

I'm hoping for my scores to be around 25-27, which does look better than a 1680/1060.
