For the Girly Girls

i have long heavy black eyelashes so i use a dark brown, blackish color. but my dior mascara is blue because i have blue eyes lol (only use for dramatic, not everyday)

Mine are dark, dark, dark.

eyeshadow-- its your first time, so don't use a lot. My advice: cream stuff all over the lid and just a bit over the crease (neutral color, brown for you) and then color just in the crease.

Cherry Chapstick is great under lipstick/gloss.

Or any chapstick, for that matter. I'm just partial to cherry.

i bought this stuff from loreal recently (i dont know if they have it in drugstores, i went to their only US store) and its this wet, creamy stick eyeshadow and i bought it in a soft, blueish silver and a natural beige color and they look amazing and feel good when being put on.

Ooh, I know what you're talking about. I don't remember the name.

BTW, the best gipgloss I own is a Loreal knockoff of Juicy Tubes... I forgot the name of that as well. Peaches n Cream....

i know what your talking about......
i love that lip gloss.
loreal and lancome are the same company and the juicy tubes and the loreal stuff is the same thing just different names

but i luv that stuff too
i tried it

and half the price :D

oh, OP, I always think that black girls look so pretty in purple eyeshadow. And sometimes even red <--- very few skintones can pull that off.

Purple (metallic?) is cool, I've never seen red though. I don't see many black people.

Or you could always not wear eyeshadow. I don't. Well, I do to some things. Ya know what's really weird, I started wearing yellowy/orangey eyeshadow to speech meets. Because well me + yellowy/orangey eyeshadow + light blue shirt = holy god are your eyes blue.

i know purple is gorgeous on most black girls and orange/red is cool, too. where do you live? do most people in your school wear alot of makeup?

Any purple. Plums, especially.

I like lavender. Sugarberry from Clinique-- too bad it was discontinued. :(

omg my mom used to wear that color- it was cute.

Me? I live in Alabama. Lots of people OD on makeup, but when handled correctly can pull it off.

I loooove it. I wear it when I want my eyes to look brown.

i live in los angeles- the make up/ fake up/ fake everything capital of the world. lol
we OD but dont know it

i dont know much about makeup, but when i was in 8th grade, my english teacher started randomly talking to us about make-up and she made a big deal about how Covergirl lipstick takes forever to wash off. so yeah, that's pretty much the only thing i can remember from that class lol

and now i've decided to share that important information with my fellow CCers

I have hazel-ey eyes, so I can wear sagey colors and have green eyes. Yay versatility.

My eyes are blue. Sky blue. They stay sky blue.

Well I'm glad everyone is enjoying this post and thanks for all the imput. How often do you all wear makeup and how much do you usually spend.

my eyes are sooooooo weird
they are blue on the outside and like bright yellowish-greenish on the inside
i know strange

i wear make up just about every day
i spend like 20 bucks on eye stuff and 15 on lip stuff
but i dont buy make up more often than every 3rd weekend
