For those of you who got into HYPS

I figured this can be a slightly different version of another thread that asks students where they're going and their stats.

Well, for those who got into HYPS (and other Ivies), I think the rest of us here on CC would love to hear about your stats and extra curriculars. I'm sure they might raise some hopeful's spirit (maybe even my own).

I didn’t get accepted because I haven’t started applying yet…but here’s the stats of some of my lower-scoring friends/family:

Person #1: Accepted into HYB and Columbia
SAT I: 23XX
SAT II: 800, 7XX, 7XX

Person #2: Accepted into YPSB, Cornell, Columbia, UPenn, etc.
SAT I: 2400
SAT II: 800 x 4 exams

Person #3 (frankly makes me feel better…): Accepted into HP
SAT I: 20X0
SAT II: 7XX x 3 exams

bump…

“lower-scoring”???

in the HYB what is B? Berkeley?

probably brown

How exactly is 2400/2400 and 800/800X4 “lower scoring”? How could P#2 have scored any better? LOL.

(Though P#3 does make me feel better, too.)

Was p3 a recruited athlete or child of a major donor?

he was probably joking about “lower scoring” lol

Why did you put 23XX and 20X0, obviously the last digit is going to be a zero.. thats not very consistent..

If this helps, my friend got into Columbia.
