For those who got a 4 or 5 on the AP Calculus BC Exam; read

Post your scores 4 or 5.

What are your predictions for this year's curve?

Also, post if you took Form A or Form B (You probably took Form B if you live outside of North America)

I see how it is. :frowning:

Leave us others out.

Anyways, I do have input. I think my raw score was probably around 45 - low 50s so I think the lower end of the 4 was at least 52-55.

Actually I feel like I got a 3 and a borderline on a 4 lol, that’s why I am making this thread

I got a 5, twas easy, I totally owned MC and missed the first and parts of the last frq

I got a 5 as well. A lot of my friends thought it was hard and I felt so confident…turns out I had a reason to feel confident.

Oh. Well I know I feel like I got 24MC correct (2 wrong, so thats 28pts), and then around 17-20pts on the FRQs. So at a maximum I think I got 48 points which should be a fairly high 3.

The cutoff is probably somewhere around 55 like it was in 2008.

I got a 5, and was not that confident. I got the entire series question wrong and knew I missed a couple of MCs. I guess the curve was quite good, and I am elated.

I got a 5. While I was taking the test I could see how it could be challenging, but at the same time I didn’t feel like I ever really had to guess on anything.

Strangely enough, I got a 5 on BC but a 4 for the AB subscore.

I’m not even sure how I did this well. The curve must’ve been incredible. (Like Edna’s curves.)

the curve for the calc exam rarely changes. Usually its around 66 points of the 108 get you a 5.

A very high percentage of test takers get a 5 on it (as I did)

I noticed that mine is curve when i was 13

5 bc
5 ab subscore

thought the mc was extremely easy, missed 2-3 max. all frq were easy and i totally missed the last one (maybe 3-4 pts of it?)

a high percentage of students get a 5 because the majority of students taking BC are incredible at math. At a lot of schools, students go straight from precalc to BC. I know at my school if you are in BC, you are like one of the best math students in the school. Even though multivariable (which I also took) is offered, the BC kids are like the elite math students because AB kids can go straight to multi. Anyways since this is the case for many schools, it would only make sense that around half the students get 5s.

Bump 10 char

Calc BC -5
AB Subscore-5

MC
NC-answered 21 ish
C-answered 13

FRQ
NC

  1. thought was ok…7-8 points (guess)
    2.ok…6-7 points
  2. easy-8 points
    4.easy-9 points
  3. ok-6-7 points
  4. crazy hard-1 pt.(answered cos series)

Form A
Idk about the curve…

5, answer everything on MC, pretty confident.
FRQs i screwed up really bad on one of them, and 2 little parts on 2 other problems, so probably it would’ve looked like 9 9 7 9 2 9 7

When we took a practice test in class, most of our class got really high 5’s on the raw score. (like a raw score of 90/110 or something close to that)

I got a 4 for both the BC score and the AB subscore. I took a practice test in class and got a mid-four, so I wasn’t too surprised, but I did think the test was extremely difficult. If I had to grade myself, based off what I thought of how I took the test, I’d give myself a B for the MC and an F for the FRQs. But it worked out :D

I got a 4 in Calc BC! The FR was hell! It’s a miracle I got a four.

I got a 5, and 5 for the AB subscore as well. I was completely in awe because I was the most worried about this test. I know I missed half of the FRQs…MC was a blur for me. Curve must have been lenient I suppose.

I got a 5 on both the BC and AB subscores. I thought the multiple choice was pretty easy, but that last FRQ on form A was so annoying -.-
