For those who will be retaking in October!

Let's set a realistic goal for ourselves and set out on a study plan.

Example from myself:

June score: 2130
Aiming for 2200+

Study plan: Gonna be studying about 2 hours a day till October. Need to focus more on CR and less on the writing.

June Score: 2120 (which was a STUNNING 10 point increase from March lol :P)
Aiming for 2200+ ...hopefully.

I have no idea what my study plan is. Probably going to try and take a practice test every week or something.

November Score: 1670 (haha what a joke)
Aiming for: 2000+

When I took it in November, I was so sick that I breezed through every section just to get it over with. But since then, I have been vigorously studying to improve my CR skills.

May Score: 2080
Aiming for: 2200+

Study Plan: I have Barron's 2400, a Kaplan vocab book, and PR's 11 Practice SATs. (Also, I have the Blue Book but I've pretty much worked through all the practice tests.) This thread reminds me that I need to set up a study plan for myself to stick to for the summer!

June Score: 1990 (ugh)
Aiming for: 2150

Study Plan: Entire Blue Book, Princeton Review 11 Practice Tests

Anyone have suggestions for improving passage based questions?

May Score: 2060
Aiming for: 2200+

I'm quite angry. The June SAT seemed easier compared to the May one, as EVERYONE that I know went up SIGNIFICANTLY from their May SAT, without studying. I didnt take the June one just coz I had to take Sat 2s, which I didn't do as well as I had anticipated. Man, I feel so dejected...

Anyway, my study plan for math is just practice as many of those as possible. For CR, I will be reading tons of books this summer so that'll be covered. I won't study for writing coz I'm pretty content with my current writing score.

June Score: 2310
Aiming for: 2400

Study plan --- see http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=359939

For CR I'm just going to count on luck I guess.

June Score: 2240
Aiming for: 2350+

I'm looking for a study partner for the SAT to make my studying a little more pleasant and to gain new perspective.

If interested, PM me

I'm going to use a relatively light study plan (if at all) and will try to go from 2200 to ~2250 :) (Mainly increase CR from 660 to 700+.)

June: 2210 (got 740 in math though... arg. one wrong is bad, but TWO?!!! Perhaps I'll be the idiot of the century.)

Haha jk

Aim: 2300+ preferably 2350+

Study plan: mooooooooooore practice tests! Some in CR, alot in writing and essay. Try to think fast and efficiently for math.

June: 1930
October: 2100

I'll be taking a Testmasters course and reading on my own to increase my 580 in CR.

does anyone want to set up a study plan with me and follow it with each other? this will include what books we will be using, how much we will be doing, and so on

2240 June / Superscore: 2250
Superscore Goal: 2280

Plan: Study every friday night on critical reading to get 30 more points.
Memorize at least 50 words, at most 75, per night.

At this rate, I'll have memorized 600 to 900 words before my Oct SAT.

January score: 1900
Aiming for 2150+

Study plan: Sparknote 1000 --> Barrons 3500 (I know I'm crazy), Blue Book, Barrons CR workbook, Kaplan 2008 comprehensive,

CR is my main concern. I want to get at least 650

2200 June
Goal: 2300+

June: 2210
Goal: 2350+

CR: blue book, PR, online course
Writing: read samples essays, come up with universal examples/quotes

1900............... not in my june but before... trying to raise to 2350+ at least..

Studying like crazy all summer. EVERY SINGLE SAT BOOK IN THE WORLD.... actually almost...........

June: 2200
aiming for 2400

study plan: ummm....get smarter over the summer.

June Score: 1940
October Score: 2040
