I'm currently picking out my Spring semester and it doesn't seem as if I will be able to fit in any honors classes. Just how important is TAP?

my counselor told me that it really isn't that important if u have high gpa, and meet all the maj req. but, tap is very advantageous if u are at the borderline.

also, my counselor told me and some other people in this forum that getting a good grade without honors is better than getting a not-so good grades from honors classes.

but, i'm doing the tap anyway because i did not meet major req, but met req for my alt. major.

Just about everyone says what you just said and if a lot of people have said this, I can rely on it with security, which is good!

Alright I'll just worry about keeping a high GPA.

Once you do a TAP...all you have to worry about is your GPA..you can forget all your ECs because the agreement is for maintaining a steady GPA.

My TAP form says I must complete ALL major prep before I transfer. Also, I have to have over a 3.0 UC Transferable GPA. Maybe these requirements are just for my school though (CCSF).
