Hey. I got into Fordham at Lincoln Center. I don’t see any scholarship information. I filed the FAFSA and CSS. I claimed the my.fordham.edu account earlier than the acceptance decision though. My portal says their will be an update on Dec. 18th, but the financial aid page keeps saying error when I go to it. Any help?

@JTCREIGHTON99 – Same thing happened to my son. If you are EA, you won’t get FA award/merit award until Feb 1st. There are a few posters who did get EA merit awards (the biggies?), but most will be released on Feb. 1st. If you applied ED, definitely call & follow up on your FA/merit award status.
@IslandDadinWa - I’m not too sure but I think only those who get a Presidential Scholarship get housing paid for. There might be awards that also include housing, again, I don’t really know. I do know that the scholarships offered are for tuition only and only those that get a Presidential Scholarship get housing included in the award.
Does anyone think that if you didn’t get any merit information, it’s because you’re being considered for the
Presidential Scholarship that hasn’t yet been announced? I have a 35 composite ACT and 4.0 UW GPA with lots of extracurriculars and great essays, so I was surprised when I didn’t see anything about merit in the acceptance. What do you guys think?
@nmocha567@emilyco17 As only the “top 20” admitted students get offered a Presidential Scholarship, I would think they need to wait until all apps are in before determining the top 20. With stats like @nmocha567 , I could see you being in the running! Good luck!!
@emilyco17 I think some EA applicants did get notified of merit aid in their acceptance letters. I did not, however. Also, thanks for clearing that up (and for your words of encouragement), @Steglitz90!
I got in EA with a 1390 sat and 3.9 gpa (out of 4). Since I didn’t hear anything about scholarships, what do you think I would get? Congrats to those who got in and good luck to those deferred!
