They’re out!
what does the letter say?
Did you receive a likely letter?
I haven’t gotten one yet
This is what I got:
The Committee on Admission regards you as a truly outstanding applicant and has asked that I do two things. The first is to advise you now - in advance of the December notification date - that you will be offered admission to Fordham University for the Fall 2019 semester.
@FutureCollege19 congrats! That’s so exciting! I’m assuming it was sent through email? And what time did you receive it? I’m so anxious now ahhhh, hopefully they’ll send them out throughout the day. Once again, congrats! Very happy for you!
Thanks! I got it yesterday in the afternoon but I’m sure they’re still rolling it out. It was sent through email.
Congrats @FutureCollege19 Your letter reads almost exactly the same as the letter from post #32.
That one was from 2015. I guess they have changed it much.
Do you think they would continue sending them out on a Saturday or wait until Monday?
Has anyone else received likely letter?
It’s unlikely that anyone received a likely letter, IMO.
@STEM2017 I agree
@STEM2017 what do you mean? (Not trying to be rude! Just clarifying!)
can u still get into fordham without receiving a likely letter???
@nikib215 yes definitely!! Many people do not receive a likely letter but still get in (and even sometimes receive merit awards)!! If we don’t get one, we’re fine! No need to stress (although it’d be nice to hear sooner). Hoping that they maybe send more out tomorrow!
@am2727 aweosme, thank u so much!! fingers crossed for both of us! ?
regarding admissions decisions, i was looking at the thread for 2022 and 2021, and they got their decisions on the 15th around 4pm est!!
@nikib215 so soon!!! I’m very very excited!
I’d love for my son to find out sooner. However, we have come to accept that we probably will not hear anything (including any “likely-letters”) until on or around 12/19, as their website says.
Still waiting here for my son. My D applied to Fordham a few years ago and we found that she was admitted on their portal, a few days before Christmas. She never got a “Likely Letter” but did get an acceptance letter in the mail a few days after it was posted on the portal.
