My son received his official acceptance package in the mail today. FA info was not included.

I don’t have a social security number though…

Call Fordham, I guess!

If I made a portal account and it has the “Admitted Student” tab, does that mean I got in? Even if I didn’t get an email OR any letter in the mail??

i cant make a my.fordham.edu account because i dont have an accessITID. i can only get into my admissions.fordham.edu applicant profile. I’m already accepted but i cant find the admitted student tab anywhere

All you need to do is for you to claim your account via AccessITID. It’s located under the login box.

im not in the system it asked if i was a student admin or alumni
what do i do?

Are you sure you’re in the correct dialog box? Because it should first ask you if you have a one time password or not. You click no, and you follow the on screen directions that will eventually ask you for SS# and such.

P.S. I HOPE NOTIFICATIONS COME OUT TOMORROW MY FELLOW EA APPLICANTS… :D

Yeha but it said I’m not in the system

If I don’t have a social security number is there any way to make an account?? Getting nervous here… haha

I was accepted December 4, 2012 through Early Action. They did, however, tell me that it was “in advance of the formal notification date”, so don’t be worried if you haven’t received it yet!

Fordham’s website says EA should be notified by Decemberr 15th… That’s today…

I’m literally looking out the window every minute waiting for the mailman! HOPE IT COMES TODAY.

My mailman already came and I don’t get a letter (live on Long Island, ny)

MY MAIL CAME TODAY! GOT THE SEMIFINALIST SCHOLARSHIP!!! it came in a huge envelope and inside was a red folder.

My daughter received her offical maroon folder today, after having gotten the early email and subsequent letter prior to Thanksgiving. But no mention of financial aid estimate, though we filled out the FAFSA (via the recommended company) and CSS Profile by 12/1. We have no need-based aid coming (though it feels like we should!), but no grant estimates or anything mentioned – does that come later??

You cannot fill out the FAFSA before January 1, and there is no recommended company…hopefully you did not get scammed.

Yes, community75, in all 3 correspondences my daughter (and others )received from Fordham, there is a company called Student Finacial Aid Services, Inc. referred to us by Fordham; they take about 20 minutes with you on the phone and assemble the premlinary FAFSA data not just for Fordham, but for all schools to which the student has applied…it’s free.

Congrats, jjj1119! Does this mean full tuition is covered?

I also received my early acceptance red folder in the mail today!
