@paramitas Yup, that’s what I meant. Accidentally called it the wrong thing.

I later realized, after posting, that I never submitted my CSS Profile to Fordham when I applied EA. Well…I guess that’s why I never got an estimate.

I guess I’ll go for the RD CSS deadline. ;-;

Infiniteloop-we did not have to submit the CSS profile. My son was accepted EA before Tgiving but did not receive a welcome packet, which included financial aid/scholarships estimate until post Cmas. There were both scholarships and anticipated loans in the report.

Wow, my S hasn’t gotten anything from Fordham except the folder with the acceptance letter in it on Dec 17. We sent the CSS Profile back in Oct. and he is a National Merit Semi-finalist and ranked 1st in his class. He would probably love the Experience Fordham opportunity since we live in MI and haven’t been able to visit. Not feeling the love. :(

@dowzerw, yes I did, the Friday before the holiday break, and the person on the line just said to wait patiently. I think my admissions letter just wasn’t sent or got lost in the mail. That’s exactly what I’m going to do, call first thing January 2nd :)

i didnt get anything about the experience fordham thing either @juniormint. im a NMSF too and got the full scholarship also. im not too far away tho so maybe thats why i didnt get it. also does anyone know if there are accepted student days coming up? my letter said something about a scholarship recipient brunch before the admitted students day in april but im pretty sure i heard something about an early admitted students day in february.

Hi, do you guys know how long it takes for fordham to recieve ACT scores?
I sent my ACT scores about 2 months to fordham and I just submitted my RD application. When I accessed the student portal, it said they are still waiting for my Test scores do i contact ACT or the fordham admission officers?

Last year there was no experience Fordham offered, so I think its cool that they are doing that this year! Since I live semi-close though I am bummed it may just be for far away kids!

I went to an accepted student day in February last year and the President’s Spring Preview in April and I would suggest you only do one. I aso did the orientation over the summer which teaches you no new informatin but is a great way to meet people! Maybe because I was so sure I was going to attend Fordham, but I thought attending all three events was just a lot of repeated information. Unless you are really on the fence, I would say skip the February days. Everything you learn then you learned if you already went on a tour or if you go in April.

For those of you trying to know what to expect as far as communication to date, my son applied EA in early Nov and received email notification before Thanksgiving of his acceptance followed by a letter on the same and then a separate mailing about the financial aid service they make available to accepted students.

In late December, he received a “Personalized Information Packet” that confirmed the school (RH) and major (Engineering Physics) he was accepted to, Fordham portal sign in information, orientation and move in dates, and some general information about what he can likely expect for financial aid.

I have read a few posts saying they got a “full scholarship” - Is this scholarship identified by name in your acceptance letter? My son was offered the “Dean’s Scholarship” as part of his EA packet. It is not a full scholarship. He was invited to “Experience Fordham” on 2/28. I am trying to understand if he still has a shot at one of the full tuitions offered. Thanks.

I called Admissions today and they said any scholarships in the acceptance letter are final and there are no additional chances for scholarships when the FA package comes.

My scholarship was increased in April relative to what was sent with my [EA] acceptance letter. I wonder if the FA people have changed their policies in the last two years.

Sov. debt. my son was accepted and offered a full scholarship to fordham. he is a nmsc semi finalist and scored almost perfect on his ACT. We are greatful to fordham for the opportunity. My son was sent a letter to go to the experience forham weekend in Feb. my son immediately emailed the person in charge to accept the invitiation. however, the response was sorry we are filled. This is not good since we are not from NY or the NE and this would be a great opportunity to see if fordham and nyc are right. Why did the school bother to send out the invitiation if they were not allowing people like my son to come?
The school should of only sent out the invitations if they had enough spots to fill the need.
