Same here. Our daughter’s merit scholarships went from 20k to $36,500. Shows as Deans scholarship of 26k and rest as Tuition Award. Her pdf also shows the COA.

I am guessing all of this is merit based as we probably don’t qualify for any Financial Aid.

Same amount  and that leaves around 45K/year out of pocket to attend Fordham.

Daughter had applied to Lincoln campus. After research we realized that the Rose Hill campus is better suited for pre-med track. Not sure what to do.

Had you applied to Pitt as well? What merit did they offer you at Pitt?

Yes. Daughter applied and received 20K scholarship offered from Pitt.

At the time of applying at Pitt she had not taken the SATs so she went Test Optional. Got only 5k from Pitt :frowning: We are going to submit her mid year grades to see if they might offer her more.

I think Pitt would be cheaper for you after the 20k merit.

Pitt is definitely cheaper. She is also is waiting for Pitt Honors and med gap (longggg reach).
We still have UMD to fall back to but daughter likes Pitt and the opportunities for pre-med track.

Agreed. We have visited Pitt but not yet Fordham. Though COA for both Pitt and Fordham will now be the same after all scholarships Pitt would still be a better option for her because of the pre-med opportunities at Pitt.

Good Luck on the Honors and MED Gap. Our daughter has applied to both too but doubt she would get either.

You never know. The decisions for both may not based on stats but “FIT”.

Good luck to your D.

Daughter got $26500. Woohoo! This makes Fordham a possibility.

The letter only lists 2021-2022 year- anyone know if these awards are renewable all 4 years?

Yes they are. Check Financing Your Fordham Education for detail.

@2021_Yay_College Thank you and Good luck to your daughter.

So today her revised scholarship is 36K. When did the 20K come to her, if you do not mind I ask.

The 20k Dean’s scholarship had originally come with the acceptance on the portal.

Is this a merit scholarship?
