Fordham University EA/ED Class of 2023

Question-wording of Dean’s Scholarship says the award is “at least $15,000” each year. Does that mean there could be more?

Got accepted to rose hill, but with no merit aid

national merit semifinalist
1570 sat
35 act
4.22 wgpa
800 math II sat
strong essay and extracurriculars

Does anyone know if they will release more merit scholarships? I was really hoping for the semifinalist award

Congrats to your daughter @PepperJo - that is awesome news!

Quick question: Did she apply to Rose Hill or Lincoln Center campus?

@surfmom
Thank you! Rose Hill as a Politcal Science major.

I was accepted EA to Lincoln Center with an excellent scholarship, but I’ve heard nothing about the honors program… will they still be sending out more acceptances to their honors program later on??

accepted into business school at rose hill! Wasn’t expecting it with my 3.8 gpa and 30 act super score but i’ll take it!

jgmama, Yes, it can be more than $15k. My kid is currently a freshman, also received the Dean’s Scholarship and when she received her official, in the mail confirmation in early February, the award was higher.

Accepted EA!! Dean’s Scholarship that gives at least 15k
1470 SAT
3.72 unweighted GPA
Strong essay, ok extracurriculars
My first college acceptance letter and my safety school, I’m so happy!

So does official financial aid and merit come out for EA applicants in February?

so my child was accepted EA and has stats significantly higher than some of those who have commented on receiving scholarships. yet there has been no mention of a scholarship??? can it still come?

I called the Financial Aid dept. The lady said my daughter applied EA. Her package will come out in Feb. ED students get their package sooner. Accepted in RH. Hope this help.

Deferred… ugh

accepted!!! with a 4.0 w GPA, 34 ACT, lots of extracurriculars and community service

my gpa is a 3.9 and sat 1220 what is the chance i will get accepted after being deferred?

@lexico19, I thought national merit semifinalist automatically got the semifinalist award, did you fill CSS profile?
Although Fordham’s website mentioned the following:" The Fordham Scholarship for Semifinalists is awarded to finalists and semifinalists in the National Merit or National Hispanic Recognition competitions who are entering freshmen, have an A or A- average, and are in the top 2-3% of all admitted students."
My D got the semifinalist award (she is national merit semifinalist as well, from MA), SAT: 1590, GPA: 4.0 UW, didn’t send SAT Math II.

Accepted! ACT 34, 4.34 weighted GPA, 3.86 unweighted GPA, top 10%, 7 AP classes before senior year, currently taking 5 AP classes, lots of extracurriculars and community service

Son was accepted!!! 1220 SAT, National Honors Society Inducted Member/Community Service Volunteer/NHS Pillar Upholder. He is so excited to join the community at THE Jesuit University of New York. Good luck to all who were deferred!

@mapar2019 I was also under the impression that all semifinalists receive the scholarship. I did submit CSS. I emailed Fordham and they told me that all financial aid information will come out by Feb 1st. But does that include scholarships?

Accepted! 4.0 GPA and 1390 SAT

Did anyone else get an invitation to join the Fordham University Community?
