Fordham University RD class of 2022

I heard back yesterday!

My S was accepted too for Engineering Physics. I was unaware of the 4-2 program. Is getting into Columbia automatic if you meet the eligibility requirements of the 3-2 program?

@Asil65 no problem! I do wonder though if students admitted to Lincoln Center were perhaps expecting a traditional college experience, and had no idea it would be different. Thank you, best of luck to your daughter as well!

D18 admitted to Fordham/Ailey dance with $15K Dean’s scholarship. Honored to get through the audition, but very disappointed in the scholarship compared to their Net Price Calculator indicated merit scholarship for 4.0UW, 35 ACT. I wonder if Fordham offer less money for prestigious programs like dance because they think parents will pay up anyway?

@jabbond I’m pretty sure that when accepted you can choose from either one… I was also accepted to that program so if you here anything else about it, please let me know! I might call the office tomorrow and ask about it

waitlisted

Sure…I’ll pass along any info that I get.

international student accepted to rosehill with fordham loyola scholarship (around $50k total)!

sat 1400 and unweighted gpa 4.0

Accepted to Rose hill
Sat 1480, UW GPA 3.8, W GPA 4.7

Didn’t receive any indication of financial aid/scholarships yet, but I also literally just sent in my outside aid clarification form thing that they asked for.

how do i check admission status?! I haven’t gotten an email or anything

@kooks12 I got an email saying to check my portal.

My daughter got waitlisted. 29 ACT, 3.8 unweighted GPA (4.3 weighted), 11 AP classes, five college-level courses beyond that (including two directly administered by the University of Minnesota), Girl Scout gold award, all-state jazz musician, 2-time section captain for one of the top marching band programs in Minnesota and a winter drumline that has finished in the top ten in the country two years running. Don’t know what else it takes. We can’t wait for Fordham, so off to Saint Louis University. Your loss, Fordham, not hers.

I got waitlisted at Fordham.
25 ACT
3.6 Unweighted
2 AP classes
2 years of varsity soccer
Creative writing, poetry, and Community service club vice president
almost 900 hours of community service

my stats are not the best and I am out of state, but is it worth appealing?

I got my acceptance last Friday, but did not receive any merit-based scholarship. I received a significant amount in need-based, around $25k without loans, but it is still not enough for my family to afford it. Does anyone know if they are still be determined?

Is it possible to transfer from Rose Hill to Lincoln Center?

Anyone know where to check my financial aid award? Are accepted applicants supposed to have a AccessIT ID?

@kuhlm44937 Same here! Accepted to Fordham LC but worried about the social scene, especially as a commuter. I definitely knew it wouldn’t be the traditional college experience but since it is such a small school I’m a little worried I’ll feel disconnected.

@miagaron Also all of the classes are in one 12-story building, which will remind me of high school a lot. I was imagining it more like multiple buildings spread out, but I was wrong. :frowning:

@kuhlm44937 I was just thinking that today. It’s so much like high school especially coupled with the fact that there are most likely a lot of commuters. Out of curiosity, are you going to the Spring Preview on April 14th? If you are, maybe we can meet!
