Hey guys, I had a question about my unusual situation with foreign language credits. I attended a school up until 9th grade that didnt offer spanish I until sophomore year. (yeah i know, sucky school.), but then I switched schools, and took spanish 1 online sophomore year, and span. 2 in class junior year. Now, in my senior year, they couldnt schedule me into a spanish 3 class, so i cant take it. Even though I only have 2 years of this subject, I do take the hardest classes my school offers and have a packed schedule nonetheless. I am also taking a second AP science in place of that spanish period. My college counselor also plans to address this in his letter in the application. Will this situation hurt me even though it was out of my control?

btw, my stats are here if that would help

It might hurt a little, but the common wisdom is that the letter from the GC should be sufficient. Still keep in mind that there are students in your shoes who found ways to take the third (or fourth year) via community college or online courses.
