Hi I am a sophomore in high school in CT and have interest in UT Austin. Due to scheduling conflicts with taking my school's required courses and two other electives that are AP economics and Orchestra (I have played the violin since 4th grade), I will not be continuing Spanish, which means I will have taken 2 years of Spanish in high school when I am applying as a Senior. Will my chances be weaker because of only taking 2 years of foreign language? Please respond ASAP.

It will hurt your chances if you are going to be a Spanish major. Otherwise, at least two years of high school study in a single foreign language is a freshman admission requirement at UT Austin.
