so for medical and dental schools a lot of them don't recognize ap courses for their chemistry and biology requirements etc. so if i want to take chem 6abc and stuff but wouldn't get credit if i took it because of the exemptions given by the ap scores, how do i forfeit the ap credits?

you block the particular ap score from being sent to ucsd. it'll cost like $8 or $10, i can't remember. look it up on collegeboard.com under withholding scores, call the number and don't forget your credit card. i did the same thing.

aw man so if they already have the whole report nothing can be done?
i'm sure there is something kuse at cal they actually force pre-meds to retake gen chem series

i don't know how that works if the report has been sent. just ask academic advising and at worse, take a higher level of chem, like p-chem, after o-chem.

If the report has already been sent, you can't forfeit the scores. So ucsdhopeful is exactly right; if you want to go to med or dental school, you'll have to full-fill the requirement by taking a higher level of chemistry.

thanks for the advice guys!
