How hard is it to get into the UW Foster Freshman Direct Admission program? I know that, as an applicant who selected "Business Administration" as a first-choice major, I am being considered for it, but I just want to know how selective it is. If anyone knows any Freshman Direct admissions statistics or anything like that, that would be great.

I am interesting in this too! bump

bumpity bump bump

I’m a freshman who was admitted DA to Foster last year. My stats were 3.75gpa 2010SAT and I don’t remember much else.

I think my scores were lower than most other people (that or everybody I’ve met is just a genius) but I had a ton of really valuable extracurriculars to enhance my application. I was regional director of the PacNW for fundraising for debate and was in charge of fundraising for my entire school as well as other business related things.

If you have a wholistically business minded application with above average scores and you CLICK THE BUTTON TO APPLY (i’ll explain this in a sec) you have a pretty good chance. That said, it’s a crapshoot and I know people who I personally think should’ve gotten in but didn’t.

Like I said before, make sure you select the Business Admin as intended major. I know a lot of people who didn’t but had great scores/stats and solid extracurriculars because they didn’t know to press the button. As a result, they weren’t even considered for Freshmen Direct.

Good luck!
