Here’s a lovely picture of our own bluemer (asian one). Now, I need some help from my fellow cadets for help on finding people’s squadron.

For example, any picture of a Basic wearing a grey lanyard means they are in Barbarians. I cannot remember any of the other squads. Anyone else remember? (like what’s dark blue?)

hornetguy - Falcon's 11 is wearing a red lanyard and is a Flying Tiger.

i found redhead... hehe poor gal
http://www.printroom.com/ViewGalleryPhoto.asp?userid=aog1959&gallery_id=743679&image_id=109

Redhead is an easy find ;-)
I'm not doing so good trying to find CDK0089
I have a few that might be him, but his 2 sisters
and brother do not agree on one picture with me yet..sigh

looks like redhead couldn't leave without her make-up....hair dryer....extra clothes for 3 weeks.....etc. etc. So, probably yelled at for not being able to keep all the crap in her extra small grip. :)

she can't use a hair dryer-she'd get an afro! but yea, i think she packed a little much. ha.

hum, what squadron, if anyone knows, is the maroonish-red lanyard?

I see my daughter "IMAFLYR" in a picture! http://www.printroom.com/ViewGalleryPhoto.asp?userid=aog1959&gallery_id=743679&image_id=124
I also "think" I see her in another (even though this image is closer, I am not sure..because I can't see her eyes)
http://www.printroom.com/ViewGalleryPhoto.asp?userid=aog1959&gallery_id=744761&image_id=114

Btw, I think my daughter had just as much as redhead, including a blowdryer.
She said the blowdryer was for time management...not for beauty. I wonder what she actually has with her now.

One more thing...How many colors of blue are there for lanyards? teal, navy etc.

I only remember teal and navy. The other color we see is purple I think. I remember about 8 of us towards the end of the school year sitting in one of our room prepping all the lanyards. Since my AMT was one of the NCO's in charge, he had us attaching all the clear pockets to the lanyards. I remember grey, yellow, green, teal, navy blue, purple, orange, and red. Two I'm missing there. Maybe White as well.

Thanks for the information. My daughter was wearing navy blue.

I have a few questions about the schedule Webguy posted...
first, what is TB testing at the clinic?
and what is TAPS?
Good luck to all of them tomorrow with their placement tests!!!

The only pict where I have found son:

http://www.printroom.com/ViewGalleryPhoto.asp?userid=aog1959&gallery_id=743679&image_id=114

hornet - In the picts I have seen black and white lanyards also

After hours of bleary-eyed scouring of the galleries over and over, I have yet to find a pic of son. No word on his squad, either. Hopefully soon.

Stealth_81

TB is tuberculosis and TAPS is the bugle call for lights out.

Stealth - I read someplace on this forum (I think) a number you can call to find out what squad he is in. I have searched and can't seem to find it now. I will keep looking for it. I am pretty sure it was with the AOG. They are probably closed for the weekend but by Monday you should be able to get his squad info.

I got really lucky with the B&B host mom calling me with the info. She said D couldn't call as planned (did not expand on why) so she called. Something happened that caused D (and it sounded like others) not be able to call or text the data as planned (maybe no connection, though we've alwasy had excellent reception at AFA so who knows about that ....) Maybe you can call his B&B family? Perhaps they know? I got even luckier in that I have found multiple photos of D. I have shown them to my friends (and her friends too!) and they all seem to agree that they are her.

Here's the number you can call for your child's (is child the right term at this point?) squadron: (719) 472-0300

Child is still appropriate. :) All the kiddies are in bed now after a long day of hard work. :)

Hornet you are having entirely too much fun with this upperclassmen thing :)

humm, so even though I'm not a parent, would I be able to ask about a squadron?
