To those candidates that may have been invited to various Founder's Day events in their area -- I encourage you to go and enjoy the festivities! It is amazing to see the bonds that exist between grads of all ages. Listen to their stories, and ask lots of questions. I guarantee you will be welcomed with open arms.

I'm going to the New Cadet Reception at Fort McPherson tommorow. Oh, and Lt. Gen. Hagenbeck is going to be there. Ya'll got nothing on the GA Parents Club :)

From my "bitter yuk":

Nope, not when I'm on leave. I'll leave West Point in New York---I know it'll still be there when i get back."

:)

I went to Founder's Day as a cadet candidate, much fun! I also just got back from tonight's festivities. Saw a lot of people I hadn't seen since graduation, as well as my IAW company commander. Good thing that I posted about minutes and table duties, I was volun-told to call minutes for dinner :) I had a great time. Supposedly, out of the 275 grads on the penninsula, 220 of them were at dinner!

dude futurewarrior what's your name!? I undoubtedly met you at the dinner at Fort McPherson. I'm Harrison, the only person who asked the plebes a question in that first room.
