<p>If you come in as a junior, you probably won't be able to join a frat. Most of them take only 2nd semester freshmen, and a few take 1st semester sophomores.</p>
<p>You'll have plenty of friends. Join other activities.</p>

<p>The vast majority of Penn undergrads do NOT depend on frats/sororities to meet friends, and they still find plenty of them. And don't worry about being a transfer. Remember, with 2400 people in each class year, and 10,000 total, there are always new people for everyone to meet, and every day's a new adventure.</p>
